Nicely developed. Iron/blood mineral, tangy dark cherry, raspberry and touch of spice. Savoury. I drank the whole thing on a Sunday watching Dreamscape (1984) and Quest for Fire (1981). Those two movies had their moments but this Spätburgunder was more consistent from beginning to end. Perhaps there was a slightly noticeable amount of oak influence during Dreamscape, but by the time Ron Perlman et al had begun their quest for fire, the oak had mostly dissipated.
The very next day I returned to the store to purchase another bottle.
